WKM 320F
Overview
Overview
Previously, manufacturers had to use a vented ball configuration to avoid trapping cavity pressure, limiting the valve to work in only one direction. The WKM 320F Series floating ball valve features a patent-pending seat that enables internal cavity relief while maintaining bidirectional sealing capability.
Advantages
- Bidirectional sealing capability
- Built-in cavity relief to prevent excess pressure buildup around the ball
- Lower break-to-open torque for reduced actuation requirement and easier operation
In every trim, WKM 320F Series valves include NACE compliance, fugitive-emissions capabilities, and fire-test certification to API Spec 607 7th Ed.
Applications & Benefits
The patent-pending seat delivers automatic internal cavity relief without sacrificing bidirectional sealing, so the 320F can be installed without regard to flow direction and safely relieves trapped cavity pressure around the ball. Lower break-to-open torque reduces actuator size and eases manual operation, while NACE compliance, fugitive-emissions capability, and API 607 7th Edition fire certification make the series well suited to sour-service, emissions-regulated, and fire-safe oil & gas and process applications.
